Jim Marsh has been playing banjo for over 40 years and has been involved with bluegrass bands such as Distant Cousins from Alabama for 24 years and in the last 10 years playing with Colorado's Grass It Up in the Colorado Springs area. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to open and share concert bills with some of the bluegrass greats like BIll Monroe, Tony Rice, Ricky Scaggs, Rhonda Vincent, Alison Krauss and many more. He is a multi instrumentalist musician and artist playing in styles from JD Crowe, Earl Scruggs to melodic styles as well. Jims' drive and speed is legendary in bluegrass circles! Combine that with a great stage presence And a smiling personality And you have a great picture of Jim.
